Jesus Christ is the head of all true churches across the world. He appoints people through his Holy Spirit to lead local churches. Jason Taff is the lead pastor of B.O.A.T Church. Jason and his wife Elena left their home in London, Ontario where they had a thriving Painting Company in order to do what they felt like God was calling them to do, which is to start a new church in Pickering, Ontario.

Jason began a relationship with Jesus at age 19 through a sequence of remarkable events. After dropping out of high school, laying in bed depressed for three months straight, absolutely broken, Jason found himself sitting by a quiet river wondering what the meaning of his life is. The next day, in a similar scenario Jason was in a field looking at the sky, wondering, "What is going on with my life?". The next day Jason saw a Bible in his room, a Bible he had never read. He opened it, and the first verse his eyes read, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul (Psalm 23:1-3)."

God was trying to get Jason's attention. It worked. He read his entire bible that year, began praying for 2-3 hours a day and went out to Calgary Alberta and began studying theology where he eventually received a Bachelor in Sacred Literature from Alberta Bible College then a Masters in Christian studies from Ambrose University. Since the time of his conversion, Jason has become passionate about telling others about Jesus and the power God has to restore the broken soul.
